COPYRIGHT TITAN SEALERS INC. USA 2021
Why choose Titan Sealers over the other
brands? Here are the top questions and
answers customers ask when talking with
our Technical Department Staff…
No topic is to harsh to discuss, no answer
to bitter to hear even in regards to Titan…
1. What makes Titan different?
Titan Head Gasket Sealer is the
world’s only full “Polymer-Based”
sealer. Other brands: Barz, Blue
Dev_l, Steal Seal, STP, and Themi
gasket are just silicate based and
water-glass sealers designed in the
1950’s for use in steel head and
iron block low-compression engines.
2. What’s different
between polymer & silicate?
Titan Head Gasket Sealer’s
“Polymer” formulation is designed
for use in aluminum or steel
engines. Aluminum expands and
contracts 33% more than steel.
The special “Polymer” in Titan
allows it to flex with the aluminum
instead of cracking-away.
The other brands being silicate
water-glass cannot flex with the new
aluminum engine metals and simply
crack-off causing clogs and damage
to components.
3. What brand lasts
longer, which is permanent?
Titan Head Gasket Sealer’s
“Polymer” formulation offers the
longest repair-life of any sealer on
the market, up to 5 to 6 years! The
other brands being simply silicate-
based are not even compatible with
today’s newer aluminum engines and
offer little if any repair-life on these
aluminum engines. Many of these
brands advertise their sealer as a
“Permanent Repair”. They cannot
even be honest with the public in
regard to their products repair-life.
Nothings permanent! Not even the
vehicles original factory head gasket.
4. Why doesn’t any other
brand use a polymer formulation?
Only Titan offers this special
“Polymer” formula because only
Titan holds the patent on it. All
The other brands are still trying to
push their outdated product to the
public because they simply have too.
and silicate is a lot cheaper to
produce than TITAN’s polymer.
5. Do I have to remove
parts or make modifications?
Titan Head Gasket Sealer is easy
to use and does not require any
modifications to your engine or
coolant system. Other brands like
Themigasket and Steal Seal’s
Cadillac Repair Kit Formula, require
you to cut the radiator hose in half
and install a vent before adding their
sealers to the coolant system.
“Question is, if the coolant system
is building pressure due to a blown
head gasket and you purchase their
sealers to fix the blown head gasket
, why on earth would you need to
install a vent to let the pressure
out?” It’s simple, silicate water-glass
sealers always crack-away from the
newer aluminum metals and when
that occurs you’ll never know because
their vents’ letting the pressure escape!
If you don’t believe this, go to their
website and read-up on the vent and
it’s installation guide. It will make you
wonder too…
6. Does Titan ever not work?
You can trust Titan to be honest
about our sealer. Most people we
can help, some people we can’t if
their engine is just to far gone.
The customer stats; 96% to 98%
of the time everyone who uses
our Titan Head Gasket Sealer
achieves a “Full-Seal”. Meaning
all of their engine’s head gasket
symptoms have been repaired.
About 2% of the time the customer
uses our sealer, the symptoms get
much better but they do not achieve
a “Full-Seal”. If this occurs we
offer a 30 day Free Replacement
Warranty in which we send out
another treatment which typically
gets the engine to a “Full Seal”.
On rare occasions their are some
engines that even require a third
treatment to finally achieve a
“Full-Seal”, which is actually still
covered under the Titan 30 Day
Warranty. Other brands like Blue
Devil state on their bottle that their
head gasket sealer “Works on All
Engines” yet if you actually call them
and ask, they will tell you it’s best not
to use it in an all aluminum engine
like a Cadillac, try it you’ll see…
7. Sounds great, heard
the “pro’s” what are the “con’s”?
OK. enough about everybody
else, What are Titan’s limitations?
Due to Titan’s polymer-base it is
the safest sealer to use and the
only sealer actually made for the
individual engine to be used in
but, due to it’s polymer-base it
will eventually wear-out and
require another treatment. This
typically occurs after 5 years.
Remember, no such thing as
permanent… Even so, thats about
4 ½ years longer than silicate
water-glass sealers last. Also,
manufacturing the polymer sealer
is much more expensive than
water-glass products because the
polymer has to be created,
(it’s synthetic)! This makes the
polymer we use expensive to
produce and more expensive for
you to purchase than most
silicate water-glass sealers. All
The other brands are using silicate
water-glass. Silicate water-glass is
a very abundant mineral that is
easily extracted from the ground at
mine sites thus their sealers are
typically less expensive to buy. But
remember, like most things you
get what you pay for…
10. Still reading this stuff?
Wow, you made it to the end…
But seriously, an educated consumer
is our best customer. We hope you
found this informative and also hope
to earn your business so you can see
the difference our Titan Head Gasket
Sealer can make…
8. Why do you have different
formulas for different vehicles?
Since we create our special
polymer, we can formulate it to
cure at whatever temperature we
want. That’s pretty cool because
all vehicles have different running
temperatures between the cylinder
head and block. Example: a Toyota
Tercel 4Cylinder is going to run
at a different temperature than say
a Ford F350 Turbo Diesel Truck.
Even if they share a similar 180
degree thermostat, the temp’s
between the head and block
are very different. We offer many
different kits for basically every
vehicle out there for one important
reason. Since we formulate the
curing temperature of the particular
sealer kit for the particular vehicle’s
engine our Titan sealer can only
cure in the area between the
cylinder head and block! Pretty
amazing isn’t it. That means if you
use Titan you don’t have to worry
about curing and clogging other
areas like heater-cores, radiators
or even hoses. It can only cure
at the head gasket. All other brands
use silicate water-glass which cures
and turns to glass around 195 degrees
no matter where it is in the coolant
system. That’s a problem for newer
vehicles which run hotter than the
old steel head/steel block engines.
Heck, a Cadillac Northstar engine’s
radiator fans are factory programed
to only turn on after 135 degrees!!!
So, these water-glass sealers cure
everywhere in the system typically
clogging heater-cores, radiators
even damaging water pumps.
9. If I use Titan, can I
still change the head gasket later?
The Titan Head Gasket Sealer
cannot interfere with engine tear
downs or rebuilds at a later date
because it can only cure at the
head gasket area during the
repair process. When your done
using it you drain it out of your
coolant system and replace the
antifreeze. The only Titan sealer
which remains is literally in the
tiny head gasket crack. All The
other brands require you to leave
them in the coolant system indefinitely
which cause long-term issues, clogging
and damage to other parts/components.
